Design of new refractive Gaussian to top-hat beam shaper with gradient  photonic crystal

In this paper a new beam shaper with gradient photonic crystal (GPC) is designed. The beam shaping is done by collimating the Gaussian source beam to top-hat beam shape and transformation function is described. The result at 340GHz demonstrate that peak to valley inhomogeneity of intensity less than 8% at 10m was achieved.
