Circle of Joy is a mini yoga sequence practiced to warm up the upper body which contains six to seven movements of the shoulders and the arms while standing in Tadasana (Mountain Pose). In this mini flow, the movement of the arms form a circle around the head while flexing the shoulders. Using the diaphragm muscles, this movement opens the chest to the maximum. When breathing is used efficiently in yoga practice, it calms the body and the mind, and creates a sense of joy. Hence the name, Circle of Joy.
